The Providence Corporate Cup Committee knows you may be expecting a date announcement for the 2021 race, but unfortunately, COVID-19 makes moving forward with our large event too much of an uncertainty. Our mission has always been corporate wellness, and after reflecting on that mission, last year’s unfortunate cancellation, and the time, energy, and resources that go into planning our 5k fun run/walk, we have decided to not schedule a 2021 Providence Corporate Cup.


Thank you to everyone who has participated, sponsored, and attended our previous Providence Corporate Cups. We appreciate every step of support. We hope that you all will continue your wellness efforts along with continuing to support local non-profits in the Greater Baton Rouge Area.

The Providence Corporate Cup Run/Walk includes thousands of participants each year who run as part of company teams or as individuals on a 5K (3.1 miles) race course. Hundreds of companies throughout our community participate, and many have on-site tent locations for its employees, clients, and friends. FREE food, drinks, and music are provided to ALL participants at the post-race party. Registration is required to run/walk the race.

Providence presented the Big Buddy Program and the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance (MCRA) each with a $10,000 check after closing out the 2019 Providence Corporate Cup. This is the 12th year Providence has presented the race proceeds to these two organizations. The 2020 Providence Corporate Cup will be held on Saturday, March 21st. The race begins at 9 am. 

The Providence Corporate Cup also features a Cook-off Challenge with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, and a Wellness Competition.
